The international gathering of sculptors has been organized in Hořice since 1966. Participants create sculpture from Hořice sandstone on the grounds of the historic St. Joseph quarry. The resulting works are installed at a unique natural gallery on St. Gothard Hill and in the adjacent Smetana Gardens where the Gallery of Sculpture from the first half of the 20th century is located. The history of brewing beer has years of tradition in Nove Pace. The foundation stone of the brewery was laid in 1871 and already during the first year the historically first batch of beer was made.
