A protected nature preserve with rich flora, a favourite destination, and a romantic valley – Zemská brána is all of these, and is also the place where the Divoká Orlice River enters Bohemia. The narrow boulder riverbed is lined with striking gneiss cliffs in a segment that is several hundred metres long. The impression of a gate is also magnified by a recently reconstructed single-arched stone bridge built by Czech and Italian stone masons in 1901-1903. Address: Klášterec nad Orlicí
