Castles and chateaus

• Jevíčko - small chateau
  The small Renaissance chateau was built as a fortress in 1599 by Prokop and Jetřich Podstatský of Prusínovice. The current appearance of the building dates to reconstructions at the end of the 18th century.

  Realised in 2008 during the occasion of the celebration in honour of 750 years since Jevíčka was promoted to a royal town. One of 8 places in a total length of 2.5 km.

Jewish monuments

• Jevíčko - Jewish ghetto, synagogue
  At the beginning of the Jewish settlement Jews did not live in a special ghetto but owned homes, for example, on the main square. They were concentrated in a ghetto starting, most likely, in the mid-17th century. The Jewish Quarter stretched north from the square; remnants are preserved until today in reconstructed buildings. The original synagogue, probably wooden, burned to the ground during a fire in the town in 1747. The new synagogue was built in the Classicist style in 1792-1794 from stone...

  The new cemetery from 1836 was in the 70s of the 20th century adapted into a park. There is only a symbolic group of tombstones.

Memorials and monuments

• Napoleon War Memorial
  The memorial that replaced the original crucifix was consecrated in 1910. It took several days to transport the block-shaped memorial to the final site using wooden rollers. The memorial is devoted to fallen soldiers from 1813-1814. The work was restored in 2000.

• Finsterle Pools - Bio-Centre
  This man-made body of water with small islands and peninsulas provides suitable habitat for protected bird species that heavily use the site for nesting. Oak, linden, alder, and willow trees were planted in the surrounding area.

Observation towers and sight-seeing locations

• Jevíčko - city tower
  The city tower, originally gothic, completed the city's defense system. It was built together with walls, you could also enter from the fortification. In 1593 it was increased in height to 50 m, equipped with a bulbous cupola, clock and a rare cymbal by bell maker Jan Beneš of Moravska Třebova. The bells from the nearby belfry were hung here in 1709. The largest has been preserved from 1509 weighing 1680 kg (cannons were cast from the others during both world wars).

Ruins, city fortifications

• Jevíčko - city walls
  Remains of oval-shaped, 1 km long Gothic fortifications that enclosed the centre of the medieval town. The walls were built in the 14th century in place of old palisades. The fortifications were last renovated in the 16th century, when they included four gates oriented in all four directions. As late as 1768 the gates were opened at daybreak and closed one hour after sunset.

• Jevíčko - ""Hitler's Highway" bridge
  Remains of so-called “Hitler’s exterritorial highway” that was to connect Wroclaw and Vienna. The name was derived from the fact that while it was to run through Czechoslovak territory, it was to belong to the German Reich. Czechoslovak citizens could also use the highway but could only enter at certain points with customs stations. The bridge construction was designed in a monumental antique style with the aim of showing who the leading power in Europe was and to what tradition the current empire...
