A 14.5 metre high wooden observation tower with an outlook platform at the height of 11 metres (32 stairs) offering panoramic views of the Krkonoše Mts., the Orlické Mts., the Králický Sněžník massif, the Jeseníky Mts., as well as Chrudim, Pardubice with Mt. Kunětická, and Hradec Králové.

Chrast - town museum, chateau
Following the Thirty Years War the Renaissance chateau served as the summer residence of the Hradec Králové bishops. The adapted chateau courtyard and the museum concert hall (the former chateau chapel with original paintings) serve for concert performances. The Roman Hall and Chinese Room with paintings by Antonín Machek in the Town Office are used for weddings and ceremonial occasions. Heřmanův Městec - Jewish ghetto, synagogue
The ghetto was established in the second half of the 17th century, the Jewish settlement dates back to the 15th century. The synagogue from the first half of the 18th century was in 1870 rebuilt in Neo-Romanesque style.

Karlštejn - small chateau

Košumberk - castle ruins and chateau
The castle is first mentioned in 1318 and following a fire in 1573 was rebuilt in the Renaissance style. In the second half of the 16th century a Czech Brotherhood school was founded at Košumberk to educate young Protestant nobles (later including, among others, the famous warrior Albrecht of Waldstein). Ležáky - pious site
Memorial of the massacre on 24. 6. 1942, when Nazis obliterated the town of Ležáky. Its inhabitants were executed, when Germans uncovered the secret radio transmitter Libuše belonging to the paratroopers who were to assassinate Reinhardt Heydrich.

Lichnice (Lichtenburk) - castle ruins
The founding of the castle dates to 1261; in 1410 the castle acquired royal status. In 1610 Lichnice burned down, in 1646 it was captured by the Swedes, and following the Thirty Years War the castle was demolished on orders from Ferdinand III. The castle ruins and a small exhibition regarding its history and owners are the last monuments recalling the former significance of the Lichtenberg family residence. The tower offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

Nasavrky - museum and chateau
A fortress built in the 10th and 11th centuries; around 1600 it was rebuilt as a Renaissance chateau. The façade of the chateau features sgraffito, and the interior holds a beautiful vaulted entrance hall. Located on the ground floor today are an information centre and ceremonial hall; the first floor houses a museum and gallery.

Rychmburk - castle
Castle in the Gothic style that remained on a gneissic rise around 1325 and belonged to Tas of Rychmburk. One of its owners was Smil Flaška of Pardubice and Rychmburk in the 15th century. In 1425, the castle was seized by Hussites, in the 1st half of the 16th century Jindřich Šťastný of Valdštejn had it turned into a Late Gothic palace, afterwards Kinský had it renovated in the Baroque style in 1793 - 1798. It has been used as a retirement home since 1955.

Slatiňany - Hippological Museum (Slatiňany - Hippologické muzeum) - chateau grounds
A Renaissance Gothic Revival chateau has a unique hippological museum. It borders on a stud farm and paddocks in the castle park. Throughout the whole year you can see Převalsky horses, Starokladruby horses and saddle horses here.

Závratec - lime works
The lime works previously served to process raw materials mined in nearby Prachovnice, from where they were transported by an approximately 5 km long basket cableway. Following the Second World War production began to stagnate and was terminated for good in 1960.

Zuberský kopec - iron lookout tower
In 2004 a 55 metre steel communication tower with wooden facing in the lower part was opened to the public southwest of Trhová Kamenice. This observation tower became a distinct dominant feature of the Železné Mts., which are easily visible from the tower’s observation deck located at the height of 38 metres (182 stairs). Under good visibility it is possible to see the Krkonoše Mts., the Orlické Mts., and the Bohemia-Moravian Highlands.
