Education trails

• Bohemia-Moravia border - Svitavy Micro-Region (Českomoravské pomezí - Svitavsko) - Education trail 
  A 12 km long trail for hikers or cyclists, running from the bus station in Svitavy and travelling along forest, field, and asphalt paths in the surrounding area. A total of 9 panels familiarize guests with the history of this Bohemia – Moravia border territory; the trail includes original border stones.

• Borová sightseeing trail (Borovská poznávací stezka) 
  The path leads around the perimeter of the district. There are 11 developments on the route. These are the evangelical church, the church of St. Marketa with the charnel house, the church of St. Catherine, the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk in Bukovina, the monument to the victims of World War II "U výbuchů", the former Štamberk quarry, the Skalka peak with the legend of the Mánina studna well, the source of Černý potok stream. There are also a number of lookout points along the route.

• Boršovský Forest (Boršovský Les) 
  Family type trail leading through a beautiful forested landscape. Information stations with comics full of funny stories of children, forest animals and secret creatures accompany you along the way.

• Education trail on Black Mountain (Naučná stezka na Černé hoře) 
  An approximately 5 km long nature trail with information boards; the trail is suitable for hikers, cross-country skiers, and cyclists.

• Hiking trail through the valley of the Svitava River (Naučná stezka údolím řeky Svitavy) 
  The entire trail is 8 km long and contains 17 information boards on the theme of nature, landscape, the history of human settlement and wooden resting places. The local circuit is marked for hiking, and leads mostly along non-asphalt field and forest paths.

• Hiking trail Velký Košíř (Naučná stezka Velký Košíř) 
  The trail leads around the oldest, East Bohemian ponds and its surroundings are a renowned ornithological locale. 179 bird species were observed here, 72 permanently nesting. Four stops acquaint you with the local fauna and flora. Many kinds are now a rarity in the Czech Republic.

• Knířov-Vanice 
  The education trail loop runs from Vysoké Mýto through Knířov and Vranice; after five stations the trail ends back in Vysoké Mýto. The trail familiarizes guests with natural and historical points of interest in the area. Suitable for hikers, cyclists, cross-country skiers, and even wheelchairs.

• Městský okruh Jevíčko 
  Realised in 2008 during the occasion of the celebration in honour of 750 years since Jevíčka was promoted to a royal town. One of 8 places in a total length of 2.5 km.

• Naučná stezka okolo Poličky 
  A walk through nature with descriptions on fifteen boards. Learn about the history of the town theatre or places in the Poličsky Liboháje. Stop at the cross on Šibenice Peak. Part of the trail leads around the pond and its tributary meanders through forest growth.

• Nedošínský háj - Education trail and natural monument 
  An easy nature trail circuit passing through Nedošín grove, on the edge of the forest over the pond Velký Kosíř (the red-marked tourist path) near Litomyšl. Its 11 information panels introduce visitors to local botany, zoology, and forestry. Nearby water reservoirs are not parts of the nature trail.

• Planetary trail in Proseč (Planetární stezka v Proseči) 
  The planetary trail measures 6 km and familiarizes visitors with the solar system; the trail is intended for hikers as well as cyclists.

• Rohová - nature preserve 
  The reservation protects large natural beech and scree woodlands holding numerous protected and endangered species of flora and fauna. An education trail with six stops familiarizes visitors with mining at Hřebeč, the local geology and hydrology, plant life, animal life, and the history of the Hřebeč region.

• To the Svitava Springs (K pramenům Svitavy) - nature trail with posted information 
  The trail passes Horní and Dolní rybník (Upper and Lower Ponds), where you can swim or get refreshment at the "Plechárna" snack bar in hot summer days, then it goes to the springs of the Svitava river, providing information on history of the ponds and on local fauna and flora.

• Vinice - nature trail 
  The Vysoké Mýto - Vinice - Vysoké Mýto education trail runs through the "Kujebák" area and at five stations introduces visitors to the nature and history of the territory and the people that lived and spent time here.

• Vraclav - Education trail 
  The trail runs from the square in Vysoké Mýto to the Baroque grounds in Vraclav. Five stations over 6 km commemorate the history of the region and familiarize guests with flora and fauna in the local forests and meadows.

• Wandering through the town forests of Polička (Putování po městských lesích Polička) 
  Within the scope of the project "Strengthening the recreational function of forests and rectifying tourism in forests of the city of Policka," a total of 10 stations were established, which were divided into two large tourist trails. The goal of the project is to show visitors places of natural and cultural value, to learn about the issues of forestry and the function of a forest in nature, and to lead tourists to protecting the natural wealth.
